These are our best seller for a reason. Delicately smoked filets of trout hail from Denmark, where they are sustainably farmed and certified by the ASC. After the filets are smoked, they are packed boneless and skinless in tins with rapeseed oil.
Serve it in the classic Danish smørrebrød style on rye bread with creme fraiche with capers, red onion, cucumbers & lemon. It's an easy and delicious addition to a salad where the flavorful oil it's packed in makes a great base for a dressing. Or whip it up into a trout mousse with aioli and fresh herbs.
