ALL ABOUT THE TINS
Do your tins require refrigeration?
They do not! Room temperature works great. In the unlikely circumstance you don’t finish the whole tin, we recommend transferring the fish to another container, keeping it covered in the refrigerator and consuming within 3 days.
Where are your products made?
All over the world! We look for canneries that process regional, locally caught or raised fish— wherever they may be. Our sardines and mussels are from Spain, salmon is from Alaska, cod liver is from Iceland, and trout is from Denmark.
What's the shelf life of tins?
Our sardines, cod liver, and trout have a five-year shelf life. Our mussels have a four year shelf life, and salmon, three year. Expiration dates are printed on the tins (please feel free to email hi@minnowworld.com if you are unable to interpret the writing on the tins).
Do your tins contain allergens?

ORDERS & SHIPPING
One of my tins arrived with a bit of dent. Is it safe to eat?
Small, superficial dents in the cans are entirely normal for tins. We’re committed to limiting the amount of unnecessary packaging and cardboard that’s common with other tinned seafood brands, which means all the blemishes on the tins are visible with our products. If your tins come with serious damage or they’re leaking we recommend throwing it away.
Do you ship internationally?
Right now, we only ship within the United States, Mexico and Canada, but we hope to bring Minnow to the rest of the world eventually. Drop us a DM on instagram to let us know where you’re based!
How long will it take to get my order?
Orders are shipped within three business days of placement. Shoot us a line if you have a question about getting an order by a specific date!
My order is a gift for someone. Can I include a note?
Yes! Thank you for thinking of gifting Minnow. The opportunity to leave a gift note is offered in the cart under "Order special instructions". Anything you put in this field will appear on a handwritten note inside the package.
If you forget to add this note, feel free to reach out. We will do our best to include the gift note!
We don’t offer gift wrapping, but our items are packed with care and attention — so they always show up looking beautiful.
