Incredibly earthy and tender, these come from a family owned, sustainable snail farm in Greece and are canned onsite in brine, rivaling the more common version imported from Burgundy, France. Our snails are packed a dozen per tin and prep is easy! They are fully cooked. To serve, drain first then sauté, grill or bake until warm. A great source of protein and iron, snails are lovely sautéed or baked with garlic and parsley, you can toss these in with pasta or marinate them and grill quickly on skewers.

  • Ingredients: snails, brine
  • A great low-fat protein source! 
  • High amounts of Vitamin A, calcium and omega-3s
  • A single serving contains nearly a quarter of one’s daily iron needs
  • Shelf stable at room temperature, fully cooked but not ready to eat, must be used in a cooked recipe. 2 year shelf life.

Sourcing & Sustainability

  • Sustainably farmed in Greece, these snails are fed a natural diet of plants and supplements free of additives such as chemicals, growth hormones and antibiotics
  • Harvested every year between September and December
  • The snails are harvested by hand and then blanched in water, frozen and then packed in cans with their own brine
  • From a storied family snail farm and cannery in central Greece
  • We’re committed to minimal packaging, hence using labels directly on our tins instead of wasteful cardboard boxes. Our tins are fully recyclable and BPA free.

How We Eat It

To serve, drain the brine and cook ‘em up!

  • Bake with butter, loads of garlic and parsley
  • Saute with your favorite fiery curry sauce
  • Jerk marinated, skewered and grilled
